Technically this mouse should be able to work with an iMac, in that you plug in the little receiver/transmitter for this mouse into a USB port on the iMac, remove the protective shipping tab from the battery compartment, then turn on the mouse.

I checked the info on this and this is what I found - works across Windows, Mac, Chrome OS and Linux. I am not sure if this helps but it was all I could find.

Yes install the usb dongle in your usb port then turn on your device and your are ready to go
