“What Model is the Mouse? Does the wheel spin freely? Specs don't mention the model of the mouse. I love the simple Logitech M325 mouse I am using. My husband just bought a (different) keyboard/mouse combo and the wheel on the mouse it came with doesn't spin - it kind of roughly click-click-clicks along; not easy to quickly go from the top of a page down without having to use the scroll bar. • The mouse is an M310. It does not have a switch to allow free spinning of the wheel. While the mouse wheel does not spin freely, you can press and release the mouse wheel, and then just move the mouse up or down to accomplish the same as if you could unlock the wheel. When done, just click the left mouse button to return the mouse to normal operation.

• The mouse is model M310. The wheel does not spin freely. It has a soft click as you scroll. I have used other mice that have a very hard (an sometimes audible) click, but this mouse wheel spins more freely that that. This mouse wheel can easily and efficiently be used to scroll from top to bottom of a long page of text.

• It is a laser mouse and does not contain a ball. But if u r asking about the scroll function, then it works smoothly.

• the scroll wheel is the stiff one. the model above this has the button that can turn off the friction to allow the wheel to spin freely.

• It is an M510, with forward and backward page buttons in the right side, The wheel does spin freely, and the mouse fits very comfortably in my right hand.
