Sorry, no side buttons; just a vertical scrolling wheel. I've had mice like that but never found it really necessary. The mouse is a model M310. Go to "http://www.logitech.com/assets/42357/m310-quick-start-guide.pdf" to see the manual for more details.

No, only the top 2 right and left click buttons and the scroll wheel will press down. NO side buttons at all!!!
