A:AnswerHi PCinCG, the Mk550 Combo uses a Unifying Receiver so as long as the mouse you want to use also uses that type, then you can connect it to the same receiver as your keyboard. Hope that helps. - N from Logitech

A:AnswerI would check to see if your Cap lock is on if not you could have something defective.
Call customer support if the cap lock doesn't work or google it before taking it back.
A:AnswerHi Jacko, the MK550 will not work with an Amazon Fire Tablet. The MK550 requires Windows XP,Vista,7,8,10. It also requires a USB port for connection to the device. Something like the MK850 that supports Bluetooth connection and multiple platforms would be a good choice.
A:AnswerTh e forward/back buttons are on the left side of the mouse for a right hand thumb so your ring finger would lay against them or under them. I would think it would be awkward but the ergonomics for your thumb and ring finger are good.
