I dont have a _Samsung_ chromebook but I have used it on several Chromebooks and it works fine over bluetooth and the unifying receiver. One downside is that on Windows/Mac you can download software to further customize/configure the keyboard/mouse or reconnect devices to the unifying receiver, but there is no software on the ChromeOS side of things to do that. That aside, you should be able to plug-n-play and everything work.
