They are technically mechanical but are much quieter, nearly silent and you can feel the click but no annoying(imho) sound. I usually can't stand mechanical and I love this keyboard.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.They are tactile as you only have to press about 1/3 of the way for the press to register, they also have a satisfying clicky sound, I would demo one in a best buy store, I love the keyboard personally.
