A:AnswerNo, I don't think so, because the 4th generation as a silent button at side and the keyboard does not are able to it. in other words are not fit it.

A:AnswerWhen you first see the blue light flashing on the keyboard, you must go into settings on your iOS device. Make sure Bluetooth is on and look at the list of devices. You should see the keyboard to click on. Once paired it should automatically connect each time you connect the iPad to the magnetic keyboard strip. For it to work you must leave Bluetooth on always.
A:AnswerI kept getting an error message about timing out? What I found from another site, helped me a lot and got it paired. Go to ACCESSIBILITY….then make sure you turn on KEYBOARD “FULL KEYBOARD” I think it said. It finally worked after trying for at least two weeks!
