A:Answer Once the “Bluetooth adapter” is plugged in, it will power on and stay powered on, until unplugged, Then you can connect your device to it via Bluetooth. {{{On your receiver you will have to select whatever “input” you have the Bluetooth Adapters RCA going into. }}} To save power I have my Bluetooth Plugged into the back of my Receiver, and the Receiver remembers the last input used, for me the Bluetooth adapter is plugged into my RCA “CD” input, so when I power on the receiver the Bluetooth powers on and automatically connects via Bluetooth to the last saved device, (my cell phone), and will start playing on the receiver. But if I had my record player used last, the receiver will remember the phono input even thought the “CD” RCA input is receiving a signal from the Bluetooth Adapter, so I would have to manually select the “CD” button to hear the music coming via Bluetooth.
