They have a small wired remote you can put on your desk to control volume, but also plug in your headphones right there instead of digging around behind a desk or computer to find the plug for your headset.

• A:Answer Yes! I hooked my Logitech - Z313 speaker system to my 40" 1080 HDTV, and it sounds awesome when I watch BluRay movies or play my PS2+PS3 games. If your tv has a headphone/audio output jack it should plug into it ok. :)

Q: QuestionSo I have a regular PC not a laptop. I just moved everything around and had to unplug everything from my PC. I've plugged the green subwoofer cord into the green port on the back of the computer but i'm not sure how to get the 2 small speakers working?

• A:Answer The green plug on the back goes to your computer. The 2 small speakers plug into a black stereo mini jack on the back of the subwoofer. Look at the metal plate on the back of the subwoofer; that's where you plug the satellite speakers in.

• A:Answer Theoretically , yes you can, depending on how old the receiver is and what it's wattage is. Look at the kind of speaker jacks on the back of the receiver. If the jacks are the kind you connect a wire directly to, the wattage is probably too high. However, if there are RCA jacks you can probably get an adapter for the 3.5mm plug and connect it to the RCA jacks. Also, there might be an AUX OUT jack, and of there is, it would be better to use that. Just beware that these kinds of speakers aren't meant to handle high wattage.

• A:Answer You can definitely hear them from outside the house if you max them out or put them close to maxed out, but I don't think that it would sound all that nice if you max it out. I use the for my pc and I leave the speakers maxed out, and control the volume through my computer. Leaving the volume at 14 (covering my whole room)- 28 (capable at running through the house).
