Q: QuestionDo these cameras require WiFi? Is so, do you have anything similar in size and resolution that is wireless and does not require WiFi?

• A:Answer Wi-fi is required for this camera. Lorex makes lots of more expensive wired systems, although I think most support wi-fi access.

Q: QuestionCan this camera work through glass?

• A:Answer This camera can but not if your window gets lots of direct sunlight. You will just get a glare. Also the infrared (night vision) will not work because it will bounce off the glass, or window and back into the camera. You will need to turn off auto night vision.

• A:Answer The camera has a built-in memory card. It records everything on the card, so no cloud storage needed. If you’d like your recording to stay kn the card longer, just use a bigger memory card. It records sound as well. I think for your purpose it will work out perfectly.

Q: QuestionWhen the camera detects motion what is the maximum time it will record? some are limited to 10 sec. If motion continues for several minutes will recording continue? After motion is recorded is there a wait time before it can record motion again?

• A:Answer No, these do not have a maximum time of how long it records. They will record however long the moment, or someone in the frame. They do not have a amount of time when they start recording again. They do not record 24/7 but record immediately with every movement or person in the frame. Very fast and efficient. You will not miss a thing!
