QuestionAre these IP cameras? Do they have PoE capability? I am trying to find the right system for my home with the best quality but also providing convenient install. I have the home pre-wired with RJ45 wires.

- Answer Hello, The cameras in this bundle are BNC/Video connection cameras, and are not NVR/Network IP Cameras. These cameras will not connect directly to your RJ45 cables without 3rd party adapters. Lorex model LNR1141TC4 sold on Best Buy is a network NVR system with PoE and IP style cameras. Thanks, Lorex

QuestionHow do I get audio AND video on this system?Is it possible to get audio on the 1080p cameras by Lorex?

- Answer Hello, The cameras that come with the systems and accessory cameras are video only, and do not include audio microphones. This system has 1 audio in, so a separate 3rd party accessory powered microphone could be added to supplement the system by installing it near one of your cameras. Thanks, Lorex

QuestionI have a older Q-See system. They have BNC connections. Can I just plug these cameras into the BNC connections/wires from these old cameras or do I have to run new wires?

- Answer The system uses high performance BNC video/power cables. If they are the same type of cable it should work however we cannot guarantee as they are not Lorex cables
