I had to drill into the Lorex website for this information.. Here is the excerpt from the data page: Storage LHV2104 / LHV2108 / LHV2116: Up to 1 HDD’s (SATA) LHV2216: Up to 2 HDD’s (SATA) Maximum Capacity LHV2104 / LHV2108 / LHV2116: Up to 1x4TB It appears the unit can have up to 2 SATA hard drives, but comes with one Max capacity of 4 TB For further clarification, contact Lorex thru their website.

This comes with a 2 TB hard drive.
