Hello, All of our DVR systems come with free apps for iOS and Android that you could use on your phone for remote viewing. The DVR would require a connection to your home internet (DSL or Cable), and once connected, you can log into it from you phone with either WiFi or on your phone data plan. Please see the FLIR FX camera as an option for remote viewing while away. For the system you are looking at, the camera and monitor cannot be father than 450' apart and would not be suitable for remote view while travelling. Thanks, Lorex
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Lorex system operates independently without internet or wifi. You will not be able to drive around and view whats happening at home from work, etc. The receiver will provide video feed to you on the monitor included in the set. It can be carried around the house but must stay within a set distance from the cameras or it will be out of range of them and it will not transmit video to the receiver.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Look for a camera that states it is "IP". That will enable you to view your camera(s) on your smartphone. A few have audio which was vital to me as I wanted to keep an eye on our fur kids and knew they wouldn't always be within the camera's view. I have not seen a system with it's own monitor that doesn't require being plugged into an outlet. Hope this helps!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Lorax has several that work with droid and apple phones. You just need wireless internet in your home and internet on your phone.
