Yes, this product can be placed in front and out back. There is a 450 foot range.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It states the range in the manual is 450ft outdoor range, and 150ft indoor range. I would say that if you live in a normal 2000 or less sq ft home, you can easily mount a camera in the back and one in the front, you will have perfect reception. Make sure if you install outside that the cameras will be under the overhang so they do not get wet. They are not completely water proof.
