Not wireless. Camera are powered over the ethernet cables (POE). They also have an extra power plug on the camera that will not be required unless you have a long ethernet cable run and use low quality cable. Harder to install than wireless, but no camera batteries that need replacing and no interference from any nearby Wi-Fi that plagues wireless cameras.

PoE systems use 1 single cord that runs from the network video recorder (NVR) box to each camera. This cord transmits power to the cameras as well as the video feed from camera to the NVR. There is no video display screen in the box. However, the NVR box hooks up easily to a television.
