QuestionWhen setting up the cameras can I control the zoom? If so, can the zoom be manually controlled?

- Answer I am able to manually control the zoom from my phone or tablet..Zoom could be better depending on how far camera is from object. I had to reinstall my camera a bit closer to doors. Has nice wide range.. Just make sure area has good lighting at night in darker area's of property.

QuestionI see they can be mounted under a beam which will work but can they be mounted on the side of a building and the head be rotated so the head would still straight

- Answer You could mount it on the side of the building as long as you can screw in the base and run the power adapter cord through to an electrical outlet. The camera head can be rotated vertically and adjusted with the included Allen key.

- Answer Yes, I initially setup just 2 cameras, which worked fine. Couple days later, added the other 2 cameras without any problems.

- Answer This particular model records to the DVR only. However, you can set motion sensor alerts to email you a snapshot when there is motion detected.

- Answer Hello, We do not have DVR systems with cameras that run on battery power. All wireless video transmission cameras run on constant power using power adapters. Thanks, Lorex

QuestionHi, I am interested in this system. But I live in PA where it's cold in winter (temperature sometimes lower than 10 degrees F.). Does it mean the cameras won't work on that temp. condition? Thank you!

- Answer Hello, The wireless cameras in this bundle are rated 14°F ~ 122°F (-10°C ~ 40°C) and installation in a sheltered location is suggested. The cameras will continue to work below the rating if they are getting ambient heat from your home etc. - however, when the cameras get too cold the video will stop transmitting at the highest frame rates, and eventually if the cameras get too cold they will shut down until the temperature increases. The cold will not damage the cameras, however excessive ice buildup may cause problems. Thanks, Lorex

- Answer Hello, The power adapters are 110~240V switching with North American power adapter head configuration (you would need a 3rd party plug head adapter for each to fit the outlet where you are installing). Thanks, Lorex

QuestionI purchased this system, question about brightness of cameraI set it the brightness to 6, to see/record better at night, but once a light or daylight happens, it doesnt keep the brightness at night. On the system it still shows as 6 but the view shows otherwise. How can i get this to be "bright" at night.
