You need 2 110v outlets by the DVR. One for the DVR and one for the cameras. There's a power cord that has 4 male/female ends that attach to each camera and back at the second power brick by the DVR. One note, the fan is really loud. I couldn't put the DVR in any room and ended up setting it up in a garage cabinet. After a few weeks, I read online that you can cut out the slotted vents in front of the fan and the noise goes away. I removed the top and the noise was gone. I cut out the vents and that solved the problem, but the DVR stays in the garage because I don't want to fish all the lines again. Just FYI.
