Hello, These cameras need to be plugged into a local power supply using the included power adapter - the term "wireless" refers to the video signal, which is transmitted wirelessly instead of using a video cable that runs between the camera and the recorder. Unfortunately, we don't have any cameras designed for long-term operation on battery power, mostly because depending on battery life for security purposes poses an issue for reliability - if a camera loses battery power, you could be without video coverage until the next time you go to view the system.
