“Computer required? Do I need to hook this into a computer to have remote access via my iphone? I am looking for a system that I can monitor away from home without the need of a computer being hooked to it and turned on all the time. Thanks”

• Hello, No, the monitor has an Ethernet port on it, so it can be connected directly to your router without the need for a PC. A computer is not needed for the remote viewing of this system. Thanks, Lorex
