• It's more of a textured nylon. You can easily see what's in it but doesn't get brittle like plastic.

• It appears to be plastic, textured on the outside and smooth on the inside. The zippered pocket is slightly expandable and the zipper is attached to cloth, not directly to the plastic. It feels like a better quality plastic, not a cheap, thin plastic.
