Questionmy old one using only has two wire-connections, W and G. Can I use this LUX Smart wifi Thermostat to replace my old one?

- Answer No you can not use this with a two wire set up. I bought it in December and found out it was not compatible with my two wire set up. I called the tech support to verify. Now I’m stuck with it because I lost my receipt. Lol

QuestionWhat is the temperature swing. I made the mistake of buying a Honeywell "total comfort" thermostat. It should be renamed totally annoying. It has 1/2 a degree of temp swing so if you set it on 70, and the temp is 69.5 it kicks the heat back on?

- Answer No it cannot be used with 5GHz wifi, must be 2.4GHz. The app supports more than one user, I put it on my husband’s phone and we access same account, but you can also add a user if you would like it to be separate.

QuestionI purchased an ecobee smart thermostat but had to return because my HVAC person said it was not compatible with my system. My current thermostat has only V+ and Vg wires, as seen in the attached picture. Is this compatible with my existing system as is?

- Answer There are 2 options with or without C wire, for without it you will need to install LUX power bridge (at your furnace). This is purchased separately and not included with thermostat.

- Answer I have mine to come on at a certain time in the morning and it does. I'm having a problem when I set it to go off at a certain but it doesn't. I'm pleased with it as well.
