• Unfortunately not, the RAM is built into the computer on these newer model Macbooks, so the RAM you buy is the RAM you're stuck with for the life of the device. But 8gb is really enough for the majority of users though, as you'll only really encounter problems if you're doing some serious multitasking by having several programs running at the same time.
