Well 256gb is quite small for school I’d at least go with 512gb but even that’s cutting it 8gb of ram is fine especially since you’re not doing anything heavy. The ssd in this Mac makes it relatively snappy so no slow is the exact opposite of what it will be. All of the ram and everything is built into the motherboard so there is no upgrading or buying ram for this Mac, however you buy it is how it stays forever it’s not a windows laptop where you can upgrade and fix it yourself.
