You get the points added to your account about 2 weeks after delivery or pick up in store. There are plenty of other games that have this benefit if you preorder. As for deadline, if you are still able to preorder, then you can qualify for it. In store preorders are usually the first to get cut off, then in store pick up orders, finally shipping orders.
