What kind of SURGE PROTECTION ?? null

Panamax is the brand I would recommend, they make a variety of different surge protectors. They are also very nicely built.

Some brands like McIntosh and some AV geeks as well will tell you to run a big power amp like that straight into the wall. Personally I just would rather have things safe and get the benefits that a good power center (surge protector) provide, so if you have money for Mark Levinson you should be looking at either a Furman IT-Reference 20i unit or Audioquest Niagara series power conditioner at least. So figure on $3-7k for power.
