Q: QuestionDoes Heston 60 support different sound modes like Heston 120?

- A:Answer Yes, the Heston 60 supports the same four sound modes as the Heston 120: Music, Movie, Night, and Voice. Each mode is engineered to optimise the listening experience based on your content and environment.

Q: QuestionIs there a night mode or dialogue enhancement feature?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Yes, and both work very well! The Night mode keeps vocals audible at low volume and also keeps loud sounds from being too loud. The Voice mode works very well, increasing the volume of vocals very noticeably. The sound modes do make a big difference! Make sure you're using the right one. It remembers the last used sound mode for each input too, which I think is great.

Q: QuestionIs the power cable detachable?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Yes, it uses a standard power cord that many electronics use and is easy to replace. I have extras at home from old devices. It doesn't use any sort of external power brick.

Q: QuestionWhat should I do if there's a delay between audio and video?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer If you have the Marshall App installed, you can adjust for it under the "Lip Sync" option in the Settings. I've found that helpful for some content. If the video is playing from your laptop and you're casting the audio to the speaker, you may not be able to correct for that. Casting in that way typically has a lot of latency. This connection is more practical for playing music as opposed to watching video on one device and having the audio play on the Heston 60.

Q: QuestionDoes it have HDMI-Passthrough to be used for gaming consoles or other devices?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer No, the Heston 60 SoundBar does not, but the Heston 120 SoundBar does have an HDMI pass through! The Marshall Heston 120 is also designed to work with the same Heston 200 Sub. Q: QuestionDo I need an app to use Heston 60?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer I think it will work without the app, but I don't recommend it. It will probably need firmware updates when you get it and they could fix or improve all kinds of things from Bluetooth, DTS, and Dolby support to how it works with your TV over eARC - who knows! Besides that, if you don't use the app you'll miss out on some advanced features like automatically calibrating the sound for your room with the built-in mics on the Heston 60 or the adjustable crossover on the Heston Sub 200.

Q: QuestionHow does the media control knob work?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer The media control knob gives you intuitive, tactile command over playback when streaming via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. Press once to play or pause. Push right or left to skip forward or back between tracks. Press and hold right or left to fast forward or rewind within a track. The control knob is designed for responsive control and a seamless listening experience.

Q: QuestionHow many sound modes does the Heston 60 offer, and what are they designed for?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer The Heston 60 features four precision-tuned sound modes, optimised for different listening experiences: Music – Delivers the Marshall signature sound: rich, balanced, and finely tuned for full-spectrum musical detail. Ideal for everything from classic vinyl to high-resolution streaming. Movie – A wide, immersive soundstage engineered for cinematic impact. Expect deep low-end, crisp highs, and clear spatial definition for a true home theatre experience. Night – Designed for low-volume listening without sacrificing clarity.
