You may want to check your Integra amp manual to ensure it is designed to run 4 ohm speakers. I tried running them with a 90’s Denon that was not 4 ohm compatible and the amp ran hot. If you are planning to run a second set of speakers from your Integra, as I was from my Denon, check to see if the combined ohms work for your amp. If the Integra can handle 4 ohm speakers, the Motion 40’s produce a good amount of bass, though likely not as much as speakers with built in subs. The mids and highs are quite good. I use them for the same type of music you are planning to play and they sound quite good. Definitely hearing more detail than I’ve heard before in my old cd’s. If you enjoy a high volume of bass you may want to add a powered sub to your setup.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Speakers might need a sub if you like a lot of base.
