• The 12 in Marvels Legend line I have does not have batteries. This may be a new series. The hole above the chest piece may help it interact with other interactive devices from that series. Don't have the box but here is a pic. hope this helps.

• Best Buy does show the wrong picture but it is the new/recent 12” Iron Man. I saw the same picture when I purchased it.
