Can You play as Groot in this game? null

Technically no you only play as StarLord and the rest is by telling them to attack enemy

In a way yes ... you actually only control Peter Quill aka Star Lord, but since he is captain you can direct the actions of your whole crew both in battle and out in the environment.

You can control "Groot" to do things to help the team, but you play as Peter Quill. So not really, sorry!

Groot is just one of the characters in your party. You don’t get to play him as the main character but get to control his special attacks during battles and exploration.
