This game is an absolute blast! If you are a fan of the MCU Guardians, this will hit pretty close to those characters. Great story, gameplay, and graphics for this PS5 version.

Very good game. The story and dialogue is well written. You should try it even if you are not a Marvel fan.

(No Spoilers included) After playing Marvel I was skeptical of this game but initial reviews were good so I decided to give it a go. You will not be disappointed - the graphics are top notch, the story is interesting, and the gameplay/fighting mechanics surpassed all of my expectations. I do not mind playing on the hardest difficulty and “dying” because the fighting mechanics are so much fun I will try countless times without frustration. The music is immersive and it really is able to set a tone both in space and on earth. So far the collectibles are not a hassle and trying to get the platinum trophy does not feel like an impossible mission. This game isn’t open world but you do get to make decisions throughout that affect the characters. If you get this game you will enjoy the ride!

Great story and interesting combat. Easy to breeze through due to the overall flow of the game.

Looking forward to playing this game (I haven't yet). Made the purchase because I find the characters interesting enough from the Mavel movies.

I know what you're thinking, these aren't the characters from the movie. Well, surprise, they're better. I was blown away by the characters and especially the writing here. They gameplay is fun, but your stay for three characters.

Marvel fans will love this game. Good voice overs. Good graphics in performance mode. That gameplay is pretty straightforward. Lots of fun. Got my copy for $40. Great game. Highly recommend!

Guardians was a game I was iffy on after Avengers, but Eidos knocked it out of the park and then some. The story is one of the best written of the year. The characters are the best written versions of the Guardians yet imo, and the gameplay is just unique enough to feel different but not jarring for a superhero game. Defiantly recommend picking this up if you have not.

Finished this game myself back at the beginning of 2022. Bought it at Best Buy for my boss this past holiday season because I enjoyed this game so much. Story is good and gameplay is so much fun. The voice actors are really good and entertaining in this game especially Rocket and Star-Lord! A must play game for sure!

The game makes you feel like the Guardians of the Galaxy! The story is excellent and really pulls the heart strings. The gameplay is also very engaging and fun. It really makes you feel like the leader of the Gardeners of the Galaxy. lol

I really enjoy this game. Once I got over my preconceived ideas of who the characters should be based off of the MCU characters, I enjoyed it more. It is a fun story with good action. The combat is fun and varied enough to remain fun throughout the game. Music is great and plays a key roll at times during battle. There is a lot of humor throughout the game and dialog between the team whether they are fighting or laughing with each other is great. The only thing I wish you could do is play as the other characters. you can tell the others what to do, but only play as Star Lord. Still, a small detail, but the game is great.

This was an absolute gem of a surprise to play. The story and dialogue felt enthralling and captivating in lighthearted ways throughout the game, yet also tugged at my heart strings during certain segments without feeling too weighty, which balanced with the comedic elements perfectly, in true MCU spirit. Combined with the gameplay, while not perfect or game breaking in any way, this game was an absolute blast to play, consistent with the heart and core of what each character brings to the group. I highly recommend this for any fans of the MCU movies and any fan of great dialogue and story driven games.

Surprisingly a ton of fun. Great graphics and story. Some dialog gets old after a while but other than that its fun. Fighting is fun and the team aspect is cool. Graphics are great on ps5. Definitely recommend

Really robust game with stellar graphics - gameplay is pretty intense and the storyline is well done. My 11 year old played it non-stop - and has returned to try new "paths" through it several times.
