QuestionWhere do you put powder dishwasher detergent? Inside the compartment or on the outside? My manual doesn’t say. Also, does the rinse aid compartment take a lot of liquid? The sample rinse aid did not fill to the indicator. Is that normal?

- Answer Hello JRS, the powder detergents would go in the same pre wash compartment on the dispenser. For the Rinse Aid if it is completely empty that can be normal yes. We hope this helps.

Question- How much water uses for 1 cycle wash? - Does the machine boil water while it works? or it's base in the temperature of water heater tank? Thank you very much.

- Answer Cannot give answer to your question. The manual gives practically no information and customer service knows little more. The first time we ran a load things came clean but not completely dry. The second load came through dry because we put high heat on. It has been suggested that before starting the machine we let the hot water run a bit. This machine runs for quite a long time (almost 3 hours), is very quiet, and seems to do a fine job of cleaning. It is in the Whirlpool family of home appliances.

QuestionI've looked through the owners manual and reviews with no luck. What is the purpose of the fold down plastic tray on the top shelf? Is it solely there for wine glasses, or are there other uses? Does it fold all the way down, or only partially? -Kyle

QuestionDoes this machine have built in air gap?

- Answer I don’t know what you mean by air gap. There is a fan and vent inside the door to get the dishes dry. Other than that it is fully insulated to prevent overheating your counter although it will get warm. The dishwasher is also extremely quiet.
