“Is there a food filter that still needs to be manually cleaned even though there is a food grinder?”

• There is a small food strainer in the bottom of the tub that may need to be cleaned from time to time. This most likely protects the pump from any incidentally small objects like hard food or broken glass or anything else that is small that might otherwise get caught up in the pump. Very easy to pop out and pop back in.
