QuestionI'm considering buying the Maytag Pet Pro top load washing machine. I saw a short video on youtube on this machine, and it showed the machine filling with water almost the whole time it was washing. Does water constantly run the during washing cycles?

- Answer There is an option for deep filling the tank. The regular cycle will only fill the tank on how many clothes you put in. It seems like the water is constantly running but it will run then agitate then run a little more until it fills automatically the amount is needed.

- Answer Hello, yes, this model does have a quick wash cycle. There are no set range of cycle times for this model of washer. Cycle times vary depending on water pressure in the home, load size, amount of detergent used etc. The unit also has a soil sensor, which would sense the soil on the clothing. Which in return would adjust the time. The time in the display is an estimated time only and may adjust. Thank you for your inquiry about our Maytag appliances.

- Answer On this model Washer if the cycle is in the spin the unit can take time to unlock the lid due to the drum has to come to a complete stop. We hope this information helps.

- Answer This agitator is specific to the pet pro models and cannot be swapped out. it is actually not the entire agitator that is removed with the pet pro but just a center filter for catching the hair.
