“Is the agitator in the washing machine removable? Is it large enough to wash a king size bedspread? Aren’t all washing machines electric? I know my dryer is gas.”

Hello Jg, the agitator is not removable on this model. This model does have a lot of space, however, materials and thickness can vary with bedding. We would recommend following the manufacturer's instructions on the bedding and if placed in the unit to not overload. All Washers are electric. Thank you for your inquiry on our Maytag appliances.
