“Do any of these free standing stainless steel ranges come with a stainless steel top? I purchased a Maytag range last year with a black top and I hate it. It's very hard to clean and we are looking for a new range in stainless steel w/stainless steel top”

I looked at many ranges and never saw one with a stainless steel top. I think that the black top is standard and I assume that it has a reason why it’s made like that. I really don’t think that cleaning a stainless steel top would be as easy as it may seem. I think about my stainless steel pans and how dirty they can get with food and how much I have to work to give it a bit of shine, the range would not look as nice and shiny after a little while if it was all stainless steel.
