“i am considering remodeling a bathroom to move these stackable units to a first floor with because basement floods regularly. do i need extra space around the drier? what about the washer, the space i am considering has tile on both sides?”

sideSpace, this Maytag® Dryer requires a 5 3/4" inches behind the Dryer. Please refer to the Washer and Dryer installation guide for more information.
