• No, this device only RECEIVES Bluetooth as input. It does not generate Bluetooth as output. It is powered by a USB cable to its micro-USB port.

• Not for use with optical output. Simply hook up red & white cables to audio on TV. Then go to setting on TV and pair it to the Blue Tooth device.

• Negative. There is no optical on this device. Only 3.5 mm analog headphone input. It is battery powered and rechargeable.

• NO IT WONT CONVERT AN OPTICAL OUTPUT AND IT IS A RECEIVER, THIS DOES'NT TRANSMIT BLUETOOTH SIGNAL IT HAS BUILT IN RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES. TO TRANSMIT YOU WILL NEED A TRANSMITTER AND FROM OPTICAL YOU WILL NEED OPTICAL ADAPTER SOLD SEPARATELY.
