“Are all six games featured on a single cartridge for the Nintendo Switch version? I don't want the switch version if they do that "half cartridge, half e-code DL" crap they did with the MMX Legacy...”

It has all games on the Cartridge or Disc. This is for all versions of this title. PS4, Switch or Xbox One.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.From what I was able to find out online, it look like they've decided to put it all on one cartridge, which should be what you wanted. I believe they did that with Mega Man X mainly because the last X4/X5/X6 were on PS, while X7 was on PS2, which used more than 3GB, which couldn't be contained on one cartridge. I believe, since these games were on NDS instead of PS, it smaller, thereby, able to fit on one.
