• You probably could, but I don't think you'd be very happy with the performance. A regular groomer comes with more attachment combs and is much better suited for trimming hair. I have a Wahl trimmer for my beard and I occasionally use it to trim hair around my ears between haircuts. Of course they also have full size trimmers specifically for cutting hair.

• No you’d be better off buying a larger head hair trimmer that comes with comb attachments
