QuestionI purchased the ion bookshelf speakers and the speaker wire is only 6/ feet long. I was looking for more separation so I need to add on to these speakers. I was hoping to add 15 feet per side. The wires have a plug on the end to insert into the unit.

- Answer You could cut the wire and insert what you need that way you can still use the plug

- Answer Install whatever brand speakers you like. If possible, listen to as many as you can and pick the ones that sound best to you and fit your budget. Look for marine rated speakers if that is the environment they are going in. Your Kenwood receiver will not necessarily sound "better" with the same brand speakers; the receiver does not care what brand of speakers it's driving.
