Install whatever brand speakers you like. If possible, listen to as many as you can and pick the ones that sound best to you and fit your budget. Look for marine rated speakers if that is the environment they are going in. Your Kenwood receiver will not necessarily sound "better" with the same brand speakers; the receiver does not care what brand of speakers it's driving.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I hope you bought marine speakers if they are mounted in an area where they might get wet. Don't need to buy matching receiver/speakers. Boats are noisy, get speakers that can handle higher watts because you might be adding an amp later on.
