Yes to some extent. But its worth the money for the updates. I'm not tech savvy and have gone without the subscription before and ended up needing some of the editing options that came with the updates.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes you can. It will be annoying every time you open it because it'll ask for an access key, but you can just exit out of that screen and use word without a problem!
