- Answer Surface Duo does not support phone calls over the Internet on its own, but you may be able to install apps that allow you to do that. Microsoft Office apps are pre-installed without an additional subscription fee.

QuestionIn order to be eligible for the Microsoft phone trade-in offer, does the Surface Duo have to be pre-ordered, or does that offer also apply after September 10, 2020 when the phones are shipping/arriving?

- Answer I believe you have to buy the phone directly from Microsoft to take advantage of their trade-in program. BestBuy does have its own trade-in program and you should cehck with them for a quote on your phone if you are considering trading it in.

QuestionCan a phone call be answered while closed? I see there's no external display to even see who's calling without opening. The "Peek" feature seems like a half-hearted attempt.

- Answer Thanks for asking! To answer a call when Surface Duo is folded, you can use the Peek feature to see who is calling by opening it slightly. To answer the call, simply open the device fully and fold it back so that its screens are facing outward.

QuestionHi, wondering if this can be used to receive calls on the T-Mobile Digits service? I'd like to use this as a companion to my iPhone, drawing on the iPhone's mobile hotspot and having the flexibility to take calls on this in addition to my iPhone. Thanks!

- Answer Surface Duo can connect to TVs and monitors via standard Android Casting or via USB-C video connection. It is not designed to be used as a desktop PC.

- Answer Devices are on display in store. All current and legacy Surface pens will work with the Duo. Some third party pens will, but may not have complete functionality.

QuestionI noticed no camera on the out side. To take a picture a group would I have to fold the hinge so the screens are on opposite sides, open the camera app on the side that is facing me with the lens facing the group? Is that the suggested path?
