• The Surface Go includes a USB type C port. Microsoft Office products will work great on this device! If you are looking to download other software such as Quicken, you will just want to compare the system requirements to the specs of the Surface Go to make sure they are compatible. Other than that, the Surface Go has the capabilities of many other laptops, and you should be able to run many of your average programs like usual.

• It has a usb c port so you will need a usb c hub. You can install other (non-app store) applications on the device but you have to remove the Windows S limitation using their free app on their App Store.

• Since it is Windows 10 S I am guessing not. I read on CNET that you had to have a MS Office 360 subscription, which probably means most of the function will occur in the cloud, but I am speculating.
