Based on my experience with the 8/128 model and Lightroom, I can confirm that it will run, but isn't quite as smooth as you might want. Even if you've got the Performance slider turned all the way up, there's a bit of lag between the time you tweak a slider and when the changes are made to your image. If you want a better experience, you'd probably be better off with one of the Surface Pro models.
