There currently is no student discount on the Surface Go through Best Buy. If you find the Surface Go at a lower price point on select sites and stores, you could go into a Best Buy store and ask them if a price match is available.

Best Buy only offers student deals on the higher end models and doesn't price match with Microsoft's student pricing (this is what I was told.) However, with the e-giftcard from Best Buy, buying from BB is cheaper than with Microsoft's student discount. I plan to use the giftcard to purchase the keyboard so the total comes out cheaper. If you have a BB credit card, you can also get 5% back, so between that and the e-giftcard, it's a savings of about $50 if you plan to purchase the Go and a keyboard (which I do.)
