Q: QuestionHi I've been torn with this one and the surface pro 7 or I pad mini. I use the cricut design space, alot of downloading pictures from phone or internet. I want to make sure that it is fast enough and has enough space.

• A:Answer It may be okay for use with a "Cricut" plotter? printer? (I've honestly never used one), but I think it may struggle a little too much. I would recommend the Pro 7 at the minimum here. The iPad mini shouldn't be considered at all; I have one and I replaced it with the Go because it was almost unbearable to use for some of the most basic of task (web browsing) and occasional YouTube watching. There hasn't been an hardware update for them in a while... They make a lower end Surface Pro that has an i3 and 4 GB of RAM that is a little more than the Surface Go so it should be fine as long as the Cricut software can get by with 4 GB of RAM. I would check your software requirements to be sure. The main issue is the processor in the Surface Go; it can't handle too much going at once. It works fine for my needs as long as I don't demand too much from it at once. YouTube becomes a stuttering mess with frequent buffering if I have anything other than YouTube open at the same time (this includes other browser tabs at the same time I have a YouTube tab open and watching a video). I have some regrets going with the Go due to this...Otherwise, it is a vast improvement over the iPad mini Gen 4 I had; maybe Gen 5 mini is better, but I doubt it...

• A:Answer Nothing else comes in the box besides the power adapter. As far as Windows 10 S is concerned, yes you can upgrade it to Window 10 (not in "S mode") easily with no cost for doing so

• A:Answer absolutely! i have a home server with plenty of movies and TV shows - all of them stream and play with no problems. if you are planning to download and store the videos on your Go2 then you will probably want to get a micro-sd card and pop that in for video storage to keep from filling up your internal drive. micro-sd cards are pretty affordable. catch one on sale and pop it in to store your videos. most any micro-sd is fast enough to handle the data stream needed to play a video. if you happen to be recording videos (for whatever reason) you might want to get a higher speed rating, but otherwise just about anything will do. hope that helps and stay safe!

Q: QuestionQuestion how is this as a laptop? I used to game on a asus laptop but now on a ps4. I mostly need a laptop for watching twitch/youtube/Netflix and ext.. is it worth it. My current laptop its too big and bulky for my use.

• A:Answer ... the use you describe doesn't seem to require a Windows 10 laptop - you don't mention the need for any office, business, or note-taking applications. if you are focused on using a device for media - movies, videos, YouTube, social media maybe - then an android or A**ple tablet might be the better choice. the Go2 is really intended for those that want the functions that a Windows 10 machine offers that are not available, or more difficult to use, in a tablet or ipad device. maybe a little more research is needed, and there are many many comparison videos on YouTube that will show you side-by-side what each type of device is capable of, and best used for. hope this helps - i would spend a little more time looking at what is available in your price range before making a purchase. stay safe!
