QuestionCan I pair Surface Headphones with my Mac and still access Cortana?

- Answer No it does not. I just opened the pair of bluetooth microsoft surface cortana white headphones to decide if they'll replace my Bose bluetooth headphones but the cortana does NOT sync with the macbook (laptop). All the threads I read says it will sync with the iphone but never said the laptop. They are amazing quality... you'll definitely do deaf if you blast it too loud.. noise cancelling is great but I need it for my macbook (laptop) as well as android phone so is only good while Im commuting so not sure if I will use much. Great headphones if you have a PC.

QuestionNow that Microsoft has officially killed off Cortana, what is the point of these headphones? Getting tired of buying into the Microsoft ecosphere and then watching them kill their own products off rather than support and improve them....

- Answer You can pair these headphones with other assistants as well. Also I don't really use the Cortana feature anyway. So if you like a unique pair of headphones or want to complete the Surface lineup, they still have a point.

QuestionThe earphones keep randomly going into mute mode when I am not pushing the mute button. This happens whether I am outside or inside. What is going on? Anything I can do to stop this?

- Answer I updated the firmware using the Surface App (on MSFT Store) and it fixed the problem. Try and use the USB cable since its a lot faster and even using it still takes 10-15 minutes.

QuestionSO I think the big question for me would be, What are these bad boys like when you work out such as running on a treadmill or maybe playing basketball. Are these sweat resistant and can handle and intense amount of sweat and still "feel" great?

- Answer I would not recommend them to play basketball or run as they're not light and you'll get pretty sweaty

- Answer So unfortunately the software built into the headphones requires Cortana to be running in the background which takes up a chunk of your battery consumption. I have had these headphones for 2 days already and I've needed to charge them once. Every time you turn the headphones on, Cortana tells you how much battery life is left. I just took them off the charger and turned them on, she is claiming 15hrs. Over the course of the two days with constant music I was able to use it for about 12hrs till I needed to recharge it. So the 15hrs seem pretty accurate considering they weren't on a full charge when I purchased them. Hopefully this helps. These headphones are amazing. I own over 20 pair of headphones, I guess you can call me a collector. But these, are my favorite yet!
