You can pair these headphones with other assistants as well. Also I don't really use the Cortana feature anyway. So if you like a unique pair of headphones or want to complete the Surface lineup, they still have a point.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. These headphones don't rely too heavily on Cortana. Yes, you can download updates and features through the Cortana app, however the headphones are bluetooth, and actually work with Google Assistant, Siri, and Alexa as well on your compatible device.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I compared them to Sony and Bose. I liked the sound better than Bose, and the ability to seemlessly connect to multiple devices (Sony was more limited). I don't use Cortana, but have been pleased with them for noise cancelling and listening to music and audiobooks. So Cortana has been an afterthought.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Cortana was never going to be the selling point of these headphones, longterm. I like the physical design(dials, durability, etc). The sound is above average, and the noise cancelling/amplification is pretty good. They're probably charging $100 too much for them, but still a good pair of cans
