- Answer No, the screen does not detach from the keyboard section of the device nor does the screen flip or rotate all the way around. The screen will open to about 120 degree. from its closed position.

QuestionHave there been any changes to improve the power cord from earlier surface pro models?

- Answer Not sure what previous model chargers/cord had. This one is magnetic, no damage to port if you kick it by mistake, 65W, and has a USB-A charging port on one of the charger sides. That USB charging port helps since the Surface Laptop 4 only has "1" USB-A and "1" USB-C plus the magnetic charging port.
